Determine which visa you need to visit, work, study or immigrate to the USA:
Visitor Visa

Foreign citizens from certain countries may also be able to visit the U.S. without a visa, through the Visa Waiver Program.

Foreign citizens who come to the U.S.A. to study or participate in an exchange program may require a Study Visa:
Academic and vocational (F and M Visas)
Exchange Visitor Visas (J visas)
Work Visa
Foreign citizens who want to work in the U.S.A. temporarily, under immigration law, need a specific visa based on the purpose of the travel and type of work they will be doing. More information about is found in this USCIS Employer Information(pdf file).
